Position Summary:


Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to be a part of something great? We want you to join us on our Transformation until the end of 2019. Ideally you have experience of AGILE Methodology but it will be your attention to detail and meticulous nature that will allow you to be successful in the role.


You will work in a small team to support documentation of standard operating procedures and technical business process documents.


The role will be based in Redhill.


Responsibilities:

  • Fill gaps in our existing set of standard operating procedures
  • Support documentation of current and future business processes and system requirements
  • Organise and run meetings with technical experts to gather process information to support drafting of requirements in support of specifying for the development team new features to meet the Target Operating Model.
  • Assist in implementing a method of document control to maintain accuracy.
  • Consider additions to our existing risk assessments to aid a risk based approach for the implementation of changes.
  • Support business teams in defining or amending end to end processes as needed.
  • Lead elements of the design of new (To Be) processes with the support of the Business Change Manager.
  • Be an interface between the Business and IT to translate business ideas\requirements into tangible clearly defined scoped IT requirements.  Functional and Non-functional.
  • Work with technical teams & business contacts to design, develop, & support testing of solutions.


  • Expert in capturing and documenting requirements, business processes & data relationships using appropriate methods
  • Experience of working in a regulated industry ideally insurance
  • Knowledge and experience of a call centre environment.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills
  • Proven experience of variety of business analysis tools/techniques
  • Experience in developing business processes and business events
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent business engagement and business acumen
  • You will be required to gain a strong understanding of the processes, systems and policies to expand on existing requirements drafted ready for future IT development
  • Skilled in the full MS Office suite, including Visio and Project
  • Relevant BA Certification ie IIBA CBAP /BCS BA or ISEB


Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an information security role.
  • Experience in defining requirements for legacy system
  • Knowledge and experience of the Insurance services sector.
  • Understanding of Data warehouse and MI principles.
  • Project Management methodologies. E.g. Prince2, Agile
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/ geographical context
