You will lead, design and delivery of our Mid-Market technical training capability plan for Commercial Lines Intermediary supporting delivery of our 2020 vision focused on the provision of workshop/learning experiences.

What you will be doing

The purpose of this role is:

  • Creation and delivery of an agreed volume of mid-market focused workshops/learning experiences addressing key areas requiring technical capability enhancement combining creation, co-ordination and facilitation as appropriate to the subject matter and own technical expertise
  • Provision of technical assistance, accuracy and quality control in relation to the production of e-learning modules
  • Maintaining and enhancing familiarity with technical training priorities and developing greater detail on key issues introduce into training content proposed as applicable
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the Technical Capability Framework ensuring learning produced is mapped accurately to this document and aligned specifically to mid-market. Provide recommendations to the Technical Training Manager for further population of Framework detail
  • Be recognised as a key contact point for mid-market technical training queries from allocated branches acting as an advocate, providing advice on availability of material and possible next steps for bespoke enquiries
  • Support Mid-Market Strategy Manager and Technical Training Manager in management of AXA Group initiatives, building understanding and resource bespoke and ongoing tasks
  • Necessity to work with the Propositions team to articulate technical changes to Mid-Market policy wordings and delivery it to the business

  • Experience in commercial insurance and specifically mid-market segmentation client
  • Technical underwriting knowledge across a wide range of classes of insurance
  • Understanding of UK and Group learning, development and talent structures
  • Knowledge of the professional bodies within insurance and financial services
  • Ability to influence at all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to co-ordinate, organise and prioritise own workload managing dependencies
